Appalachian State 34, Michigan 32

Wow. Just wow. The Michigan hype machine started early this year, bragging on the return of key seniors who chose, apparently, to stay out of the NFL for a year and bring home to Michigan a national championship. The press is calling this one of the biggest upsets ever and, I suppose that is true to a certain extent. Except that one of the things that you learn early as a Michigan fan is that the mighty Wolverines are capable of losing any game at any time.

The drumbeats you hear are the folks who have been after Carr's head for years. They really have something to chew on now. I don't know if Lloyd will last the season, but one thing is for sure, the Wolverines need to be perfect from here on out if they want to salvage anything.

I'd also like to take a moment to slam the competing greedy pigs of the Big Ten Network and Comcast for ensuring that I couldn't see one of the biggest upsets in college football history. Thanks guys!
